Bill Biffle

Bill joined the Barbershop Harmony Society in 1976 and has spent most of the last 48 years directing the Albuquerque Chapter chorus, judging contests, coaching and teaching barbershop schools, and singing in quartets.  He has sung in two district championship quartets and also with three district senior quartet champioins.  He directed the New Mexichords chorus to four district championships and competed at International six times.  He was a cerified judge in Sound and Singing from 1981 to 2003 and has taught and coached at every level of BHS school, including many times at Harmony University.  He has traveled across North America and Europe to teach, coach, and judge barbershop competitions.  He was the BHS International President in 2009-2010.  In 2017, Bill co-authored a book on how to sing barbershop for the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
